Dancing With the Stars crowned its season 34 champions after a three-hour night of spellbinding competition.
Warning: This post continues spoilers for the season 34 finale of Dancing With the Stars.
Robert Irwin and his pro partner, Witney Carson, were crowned the winners during the Tuesday, November 25, finale. It is Carson’s second win.
“My sister said it best, ‘Thank you for changing my life,’” Irwin, 21, gushed, shouting out former champ Bindi Irwin. Carson, meanwhile, said she felt like she “already won” just having Robert as her partner.
The winning duo beat out runner-ups Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, followed by Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, who finished in third place. Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, meanwhile, ended the show in fourth place, followed by Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten in fifth.
Before Irwin and Carson received their Len Goodman Memorial Mirrorball Trophies, they competed against their counterparts in three performance rounds. Each couple tackled a Judge’s Choice routine, where one of the judges selected a style and doled out pre-rehearsal advice. Next, they all performed an Instant Dance after receiving a style and song just mere minutes before taking the ballroom floor. The evening, true to DWTS tradition, wrapped with the freestyle dances that left Us (and the judges) in complete awe.
